Join us for a day-long workshop to explore watercolor painting with artist Lois Smith. Open to members and non-members, this workshop will be full of information specific to the watercolor medium. We will learn about properties of individual pigments (sedimentary, staining, non-staining, temperature, etc.) and how those properties affect the way different colors work separately and together. Participants will experience several activities that develop understanding of these concepts and will paint to practice the concepts.
The workshop will be held on October 23, 2021 at the Lincoln Artists’ Guild Tai Chi Room, 2634 N. 48th Street. Doors open at 9:30, workshop starts at 10:00, cleanup at 4:00, out of building by 4:30. Participants should bring a lunch and the instructor will provide a supply list with paid registrations.
